Below are stories of people who have used and loved PROTEK.

As one of the owners of this business I can’t believe I did this. I forgot to change out of my indoor shoes and went walking with my granddaughter who is six months old. My shoes didn’t have a tag on them.  Her stroller didn’t have a tag on it.  I spent the 30 minutes we walked worrying about her safety. As soon as I got home I put a PROTEK tag on her stroller and on both inside and outside shoes so I wouldn't make that same mistake again.
Life Is Too Precious To Go Untagged.

Mary tells the story of how this past summer she took her two grandsons, ages 7 and 4, to Niagara Falls for several days.  She decided that, because they were on and off buses and visiting many different venues that were very crowded, to put the PROTEK tags on their shoes.  She told them that if they ever got separated from her they should find someone in uniform, either a park’s person or a policeman, and ask them to call the cell phone number on the shoe tag.  She didn’t put their names on the tag, just wrote “Baba’s Cell” and her cell number.  She said that after that she settled into enjoying her vacation.

Carole tells us that the first night of training for her second marathon, one of our new recruits ran on his own route, by himself.  He tripped, fell and passed out on the pavement.  The police found him.  Fortunately, he was wearing an Emergency Information tag, so they knew he had no serious medical issues and whom to contact.
It’s such a little thing to tag your shoe.
Be PROTEK(ted).

Eileen wants a PROTEK tag for her gym shoes.  She says, “no one knows me at the gym.  If something happened to me, who would they contact?”

Sharon’s friend went out for his usual evening stroll by himself.  Several blocks from home, he took ill and passed out on the sidewalk.  Unfortunately, he had no identification with him and was admitted to the hospital as a ‘John Doe’.  His wife was distraught when she located him in hospital several hours later.  As Sharon said, had he been wearing a PROTEK Emergency Information tag, they would have known about his heart condition plus had a number to contact his wife.

Kathy told me that last week , at her gym, the woman on the treadmill next to her took a gran mal seizure. They called the EMS who took her to the hospital but had no idea how to contact her husband. If she had been wearing one of our tags, they could have reached the husband.
